アルバムについて
シンガーソングライターのHalsey,4つ目のアルバムになる今作品は同名の映画も公開されています。
映画はCollin Tilleyが監督し、同年8月25日と26日に世界中の映画館で観れたそう。（日本は公開なし）ちなみに私はYoutubeで映画をレンタルしました。ドラマ「ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ」や映画「マリー・アントワネット」を彷彿させる雰囲気です。
彼女自身によると今回のアルバムは「妊娠の喜びと恐怖がコンセプト」だそうです。「このアルバムカバーが、この数ヶ月間の私の旅の感情を伝えるものになることは、私にとって非常に重要なことでした。このアートワークは、妊娠中や産後の身体を美しいものとして称賛しています。産後の身体や授乳にまつわる社会的偏見をなくすには、まだまだ長い道のりです。これが正しい方向への一歩となることを願っています」。アルバムカバーはニューヨークのメトロポリタン美術館で披露。
ビジュアル的にも、音楽的にもとてもパワフルで美しい作品になっています。
