今回はEd SheeranとKhalidのコラボ曲です😍
“Beautiful people “はEd SheeranのNo.6 Collaborations projectに収録される曲です。(Justin Bieber とのI don’t careなど)
ありのままでいる事、周りに流されない事、ステータスや物に夢中な”美しい人々“にならない事を歌っていますね。
さてこの”美しい人々“って誰？となりますが、皆さんは誰を思い浮かべますか？きっと歌手や女優、最近ではインスタグラマーの方達を想像すると思います。Edはお金持ちで権力や名声がある、外見が美しい人達のことを言っているそうです。
ということは“一般人”が醜いと言う事なのか？そこは皆さんの判断にお任せします。
MVにでてくる夫婦は、“一般人”を表していて、Edでもあると私は思います。リムジンやヨットに乗ったり、パーティへ行っても、ありのままでいられないならつまらない。誰と知り合いか、何を着ているかにしか興味ない“美しい人々”にはならない、僕達はそうじゃないと伝えたいのだと私は思います。
